The old Monogram Devestator is not so easy to buy in germany, so I am happy to have two, it is old but good kit, with crew and details for a Yellowwimg and a later blue/gray color. The fit is o.K. and the wing can be folded, so what more do we need to have fun building a navy bomber? Beer!!

Very nice. This is my fav. Kit from Monogram. Just a word Jim, he worst part of the kit is the 8 inch scale thick canopy. No way you can pose it all the way open. Better off getting the Squadron vacuform.

Yes it is a favorit Monogram kit for me too. I see you like and know this kit, it is a seldom one in germany, years ago there was a rebox of classic monogram kits and this was my chance to have this two.

I built this kit about 4 years ago. It was the Revell box that included a nice reference book by Bert Kinzley. 10 bucks on Ebay! I used photoetch and a vac canopy along with some Starfighter decals. The engine/prop and surface detail are excellent for this old Monogram kit.
