I might be wrong, but could it be that you accidentally inverted the camo colours on your Gripen?

Pre-shading looks good sir! And that top-bottom thing... well, it's good practice!! I recently couldn't tell left from right on some landing gear. It happens! :bag:

You missed the obvious....those pictures were the photo negatives of the plane. Now all is good!
