Beaufighter TFX

Post by CallSignOWL »

this here is the Matchbox kit in 1/72. A club buddy had this on the cheap, and I figured it would be a fun little build. Handpainted, with decals out of the spares bag

Of course, I cant let things be, so I scratched a bit of detail. Other than the seats, everything else was added.

and after a bit of a funk, got her all finished up!

Thats a fine job you've done on that one. Well done.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Very nice Owl - it looks great! Nice finish!

I love the idea of the replacement wing - that works well. What colour did you use for the cowling rings?

Gold, mixed with dark brown. I dont have a bronze color, so I had to improvise :giggles:
