I'm growing really fond of Russian jets lately, so I'm following with great interest.

I too have a tip for using Tamiya putty.....don't. The stuff is atrocious. Automotive glazing putty all the way. You can thank me later.

Yeah I tend to agree with you on the Tamiya - I was doing some clean up earlier and it was a swine to sand, and has gone almost slivery!?!? I'll play around with it a bit more but I think I may go back to finishing off my Revell Putty.

I've not tried automotive putty - I'll have to get some.

The Mig 23/27 is just so cool looking plane!

While I recently visited to Hermeskeil, Germany airplane museum, they had in total 3 different Mig-23:s there!

Especially the front-wheel and it's sort of "mudguard" (or whatever it's called) looks so special !

It is indeed a cool looking aircraft - and thanks for the picture, I was wondering what colour to paint the U/C and that helps a lot!

Dang stuff just shrinks too much...and it continues to shrink for weeks...which is the real problem.
