looks good, I have th RWD in 1:48 in stash, think I build a spanish civial war plane, but the red and gray one looks good too

My sources indicate it is silver and red so that is what I am sticking to. But my Polish is ver bad just google translate.

Black base is on for the silver coat.

I am taking the easy route on this one : rattle cans. That speeds things up.

Silver is on and I masked the RWD for the red:




I first masked the outline with some Jammydog 1mm tape, almost like a pinstripe. I then added Tamiya tape to cover the fuselage. The tail is wrapped in a small plastic bag supported with Tamiya tape.

And the paint is on. Just one coat was enough. Masking worked fine.





I did the decalling now because they will interfere with the struts.








The decals worked very nice. I have build an old Plastyk kit before and those decals worked like a charm to. That is contrary to what you might expect but there was no yellowing, decals are thin and quite glossy (which is a good thing). And no silvering!

I am taking the easy route on this one. The red is a Duplicolor spray can. I do not have the number at hand. The instructions just say "red" in Polish so it is accurate.

That's looking lovely Borg - this'll look really nice when built up!

I do like the inter-war stuff, I really must have a go at something from that era myself.
