I don't either do/follow any NY resolutions... But let's hypoteticaly do so, just for the fun... then it would be

a) participate 2015 in some local IPMS competition in the "out of the box" - class.. Just to see what couple of years of "practicing" would result in..
b) finalise at least 1 good build (perhaps the one from paragraph a) ??)
c) build at least one 1/32 scale plane (day dreaming of Trumpeters Mig-21 UM)
d) Buy a "real" airbrush (Iwata or Badger or any other good brand)

Not too unworkable??

So we are coming closer to the end of 2015, and can just say, what an eventful year indeed!
How about our New Year resolutions ?

How did it go for me?

a) Nope, not even close....
b) Ja, I would say so, managed, finally...
c) Nope and actually no real interest in that scale at this moment..
d) Yes! I got my Haarder & Steenbeck Evolution some months ago.

So, I got sort of a 50% Hit-rate for my NYR:s, not a total disaster in other words...

Finish at least one of my three shelved builds and start some attempts with depicting water à la Flodberg.

First thing's nearly done and the second some light years ahead. Not in the ship game atm.

Just for fun, my resolutions are as follows:

A) finish at least eight models that didn't get done in 2014 before I start another one.

B) Keep practicing my Alclad application until I am able to get a smooth finish.

C) Try to finish at least twelve more models than I did in 2014

D) Complete another 35 more small scale armor/vehicle models, and then get my entire 1/72 scale armor/vehicle collection photographed.


Who knows, I might even get a few of these done! It's sure going to be fun trying!

Well, when it come to mine, I have to say I'm about 65% successful:

"A) finish at least eight models that didn't get done in 2014 before I start another one. " Done and done! I finished at least eight, possibly nine this year.

"B) Keep practicing my Alclad application until I am able to get a smooth finish. " I am closer to getting this done. I did another model with Alclad and was far more successful at getting a smooth finish than before. So, I'd say I'm halfway done with this one.

"C) Try to finish at least twelve more models than I did in 2014" Still not sure I succeeded yet as I haven't made a full count of completed models and compared that count to last year. I may be close though.

"D) Complete another 35 more small scale armor/vehicle models, and then get my entire 1/72 scale armor/vehicle collection photographed." I'm going to fall about ten short on this so no photographs either. I'll carry this over to next year where I'm certain to complete it.


So, I did manage to complete a couple of these. Not bad. Let's do this again next year.
