I agree - very nice subtle effect with those flames - spot on.

Alright I'm back after the Austin show ready to get back on this thing and see it through. First things first, I chunked the hood into the brake fluid this morning. I didn't even look back as I'm ready to just start over with that part. I had some fit issues with the side step fit interference at the front of the rear fender blister area at both sides. Fortunately I don't have to trim anything as it is an assembly order thing. All I have to do is install the bed first and then the steps so that problem is solved thankfully!! If any of you guys are going to the San Antonio show I'll most likely be done with this one in time for that.

This morning I installed the tail lights and license plate. Here's a bed test fit to show the results of that........

Thanks Stuart!

This morning I cut about a 1/2" off of each side of the rear bumper and currently have it immersed in brake fluid to remove the chrome plating. After it comes out of there I'll clean it up and treat it to a coat of Alclad II chrome and buff it out.

The overall fit and look:

Alright gang. I had stripped the chrome from the bumper & cleaned it all up. I primed it w/ TS-8 gloss black and shot the Alclad on. I had the dang pressure set too low & it came out grainy. I went ahead & stripped it all again & am now waiting on that to dry. Will shoot another coat of AlclD tonight. I should have the process down pat after the last few days off messin with this thing.

What kind of sound system are you putting in this? You have added everything else... :lashed:

I guess since the plate says shotgun and it's a Ford you must have a 671 mill in that thing...
