Thanks guys!

Kari, they've had a 1/32 scale model of this cannon released and re-released in some form for decades. Thankfully, Dragon decided to finally do it in 1/72 scale so I could add it to my collection.

I know everyone has already seen this, but I had brought Dora in to Hobby Day for repairs (the damage can see seen in the Maddog Manufacturing Thread). Since I also had Annie there at Hobby Day; I took the opportunity to shoot a few pics of the two guns sitting side by side. It's an interesting comparison to say the least.

Keep in mind that both of these models are in the same scale

Here's Dora after her repairs, sitting next to her American cousin Annie:

Quite an interesting study in artillery ain't it?

Enjoy!

That is an insanely large gun! Great model though MD!

Thanks portman! Both of them were very interesting projects. I'm glad I got them both done.

Wow, that is some serious size difference. But don't let Annie's size fool you... she makes a bigger boom on impact. Now you just need the Hasegawa Anzio Annie/Leopold for a nice hat trick.

Thanks Carlos! I agree about Annie's boom. I do have the Hasegawa Leopold somewhere in my stash; I just can't find it! It's been on my short list of models to build if I can only find it.

LOLOL!

I love it! I should print that out and place it next to Dora the next time I display her. I'd need to edit the name though...

Thanks Carlos! I love it! Don't forget to bring something to work on at IPMS in May; it's a Build Night at the meeting.

Yeah, I thought you might like this. I am half tempted to print it up and take it by the RR Hobby Shop nearby for them to laugh at.

IPMS is having a build nite in May? Cool! I wont be at AMPS because that is the weekend that my son graduates from USAF Basic, so we will be at Lackland AFB in Texas.
