Very nice! You're a braver one than I Gunga Din! I don't think I'd ever re-scribe a whole model. I only try to re-scribe places where I sand the detail away. I am looking forward to seeing more.

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.

Gunga Din is a Rudyard Kipling short story, later made into a movie in the late 1930s or so. I believe that Mark is quoting a line from one of those two.
I'm looking forward to some paint on this one.

That looks grand does that – I love the variation in the dark grey – superb painting.

I kept the panel fading fairly minimal, as all the pics Ive seen of the jammer birds show a clean airframe. I'll be going in and picking out some panels with a different shade to help break up the monotonous grey

Yep. She is a looking very nice, indeed. Gloss paint? Or a gloss coat?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
