Tamiya Thunderbolt, 1/48 *FINISHED*

Post by CallSignOWL »

Im a busy little bee! This holiday season gives me a bit more time at the bench, and Ive been using that time to the fullest!

While other projects are drying, curing, etc, Ive started other builds to keep me busy....so far, Ive got 6 planes on the bench! whew!!

Ive heard nice things about this kit, and I must say, those accolades are well deserved! The pit builds up beautifully, with my only additions being some seat belts (tamiya included decals for these, but those are blah...). Since it was in a larger scale, I even added some wire buckles.

all together....

Its nice that you can still see it once the fuselage is closed up too!

being the overachiever that I am, I wired the engine while that was drying. :FM:

Outstanding work! I started the 1/72 scale Jug from Tamiya some years ago, the detail is the same! Well done!.

Only six planes in progress? Cool! Welcome to my world!

I've got that kit too. Now if I only can get around to finishing it...

Well done, Ms. Owl! Well done! Belts look very good.
