Re: 1/32 Revell RF 4C/ Tamiya F-4C Kitbash
Been a while since I put an update on this build,,, but progress being made. New panel lines scribed in the vertical stabilizer, both kits fuselage parts fused together, intakes in, office finally figured out (1969 SEA configuration)and fitted into the fuselage, canopy rails and more correct looking glare shield scratched together,, parts dry fitted.... now just a matter of detailing wheel bays, aux air intakes, landing gears, canopies and so on.......

As always thanks for lookin!!

Okay, that hurt. My jaw just hit the floor. Have some consideration! Man, you gots game.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Re: 1/32 Revell RF 4C/ Tamiya F-4C Kitbash
I have a set of CE intakes for my Tamiya F-4J and guess what? After cutting them from the casting block I found out they don't fit all so well. They are about 1/4 in too short.
I really am enjoying this build because your builds are always impressive.

Re: 1/32 Revell RF 4C/ Tamiya F-4C Kitbash
Thanks Everyone! Well I have made some more progress. Panel lines added or rescribed on the tail and re-enforcements on the rear sanded off, as well as all the raised panels on the fuselage. I cut the rear vents from the Revell fuselage and put them in place of the Tamiya's over exaggerated ones. Brass bellows, angle of attack and pitot tube added. Canopies put together for the most part and masked. CL tank and external tanks painted. Detail added to the wheel bays and aux air intakes. Painted the bird freehand, with a few coats in enamel of varying shades of the base colors and then multiple shades of metalizers on the rear...

Still a ton of things to do but it's getting there slow but sure,,
As always, Thanks for lookin!!
