How many gallons of paint you've thrown on this? In Japan whole families are living on areas like that. :whiteflag:

Eagerly waiting for the final!

Thanks again Everyone and Happy New Year! Thought I would throw a update on this glacially moving build.... I put a very limited amount of stencil decals from an Isradecal sheet on it. The birds arrived in SEA painted grey and white, with all the "snowflakes" on them straight from the states,,, after being painted in camo very few of them remained. From the CC's memory he said "When the AC were camo'ed they were simply painted with the mandatory warnings on radar, ejection seat, etc. They still had many markings but just not all the "nit-noy" stuff."
So with that in mind after placing the decals, the bird had one more bath in paint, both top and bottom, to take away the brightness of the new decals and trying to match some of the personal pictures of this ac taken by the CC and Pilot. I did this with really thinned out paints of varying shades of the base color. I detailed out the wheel bays/landing gears with hydo lines and various placards .... The photoflash compartments are coming together posed in a "pre-flight" loaded look. I also added detail, actuators and hinges to the aux air intakes. It's coming together, at least she can stand now. Hope to get some more updates on here soon.... As always Thanks for lookin!! :guitar:

Yeah.. what he said. I didn't know F-4s had airbrakes under the wings.

Thanks Everyone! Thought I would get this up to speed.... Stovepipes, and inner pylons (all made from resin molds from the CC D. Dixon who has been advising) are the best I have seen as far as resin. A big THANKS to my friend Donnie who made them for me. So,,,, Pylons, externals and CL tank hung up, CL tank is from the Revell kit with a scratched together brace, stovepipes painted and in place, added the strut re-enforcements and bracing for the fins of the CL tank,,,, added screws to the inner pylons for a more "real" look,,,, the camera bay is almost done,,,,, all the door structure, bracing and cameras had to be scratched together. I also added the door latches and piano hinges for the doors. I still have a ways to go but getting there........

As always Thanks for lookin!
