1:48 English Electric Lightning

Post by Cherrylock »

I build my third Lightning, so time to show. All 3 from Airfix, the F.2 with CMK Cockpit, the F.6 with Eduard Cockpit Set

I can't decide on a favorite. All are very well done.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Beautiful work Cherry! The Lightning was always an interesting a/c, with those "stacked" engines and ordnance carried on top of the wing! Cool planes sir. :shoutout:

Didn't notice the tanks on top of wings until Tex mentioned it. Never heard of such a set-up.
