Nice little gift of the Tony. As far as the Mustang decals go, unless you have heart set on those particular markings, there are plenty of after market decal sets out there for a P-51D in 1/32.

Lyle, if you go back some posts you will notice that I suggested to cover the kit´s decals with this "crap", not your self-printed ones...
Re: Revell 1/32 P-51D - Smithsonian
Not referring back to that, Thomas. Somewhere else I saw something that said to coat user-printed decals to help with the flaking around the edges. You are not a suspect! However, It doesn't work worth a damn on kit decals, either,, from my experience. I think one time it did and that is it. Lesson learned.Thomas_M wrote:Lyle, if you go back some posts you will notice that I suggested to cover the kit´s decals with this "crap", not your self-printed ones...
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Not heart-set on these, although I do find them interesting. I think the printed ones will be fine.Stikpusher wrote:Nice little gift of the Tony. Sounds like a Mustang; looks like a Mustang, kills Messerschmitts like a Mustang: it IS a Mustang!
Good to see you finished this one, Lyle! As I said: with each finished build you visibly improve!
You should give this one a place in your living room!
