I got this as a late Christmas present for my self and it arrived on Friday and I just had to tear right into it. The fit is pretty uneventful and it has a lot of space to do some super detailing only until I get my strabismus surgery next month I really don't have a good eye to do that kind of detailing. I have Jerry Crandal's Me 262 book on the way and I have hopes that it will shed some light on some different schemes to model. So far I have the gun bay done which will most likely be hidden and the cockpit almost finished but since I took some pics I can see there are some areas that need attention.
Mostrich, that 262 is looking awesome! That is truly one thing I love about this site, you see people building things that may not have been on your personal build radar; but once you see a quality build of a subject you start to get the itch of wanting to build one for yourself! Great work my friend!
I spent the whole day assembling the Eduard seat belts for this thing and they wound up looking like horse hockey. No pics this time but I am going to start buying nothing but the paper / cloth belts from now on.
