That is a brilliant solution to an impossible situation! I commend you for that. Your skills in fitting out that cockpit are remarkable as well. Way to go, I'm going to keep watching this even though I really don't like '46 paper projects.

Yeah, I do keep surprising myself too. Especially with the amount of unnecessary trouble I seem to be able to get myself into, my absolute inability to do anything OOB, my propensity to over-complicate things and my sometimes dogged determination to make an historically correct model of a plane that never even went passed the design stage, much less flew. 
But thanks, Thomas, I do appreciate the nice words. The comments I get make me feel that maybe it's worth the effort after all.
