Thank you Everyone who commented on this build. I am finally done. This was by far the most challenging build I have done. Not in terms of scratch building , but accuracy. Here is 0866 circa 1969 of the 12th TRS 460TRW while in SEA Tan Son Nhut ....

This bird would not have turned out close to this without the help, encouragement and tech advice from D Dixon and L Clark, the two men this build is about. For their years of dedicated service ,,, and friendship. Thanks again Guys.

My word, that is a gorgeous build. Splendiferous, and all. Beautiful.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
