Good idea Kari! I never thought about that. Looks like a trip to Hobby Lobby armed with a 40% coupon is on the agenda this week.KSaarni wrote:I am also a little bit scared, but then I was thinking.. I should buy the cheapest bi-plane only to test rigging on. Nothing else, no painting etc, just rigging rigging rigging... and then when I feel comfortable with it, I would build a "real" one...BlackSheep214 wrote:I don't know how you do it but you make it look so damn easy to do. I've got a 1/32 scale Sopwith Camel kit in my stash and I'm scared to try rigging. Although the instructions for that kit looks simple enough. Just not sure of using the thread supplied with the kit would be realistic enough - let alone be a dust magnet over time on display.

Re: 1:48 Bristol F.2B Biff
I've been watching a couple of youtube videoes on how to do rigging on a biplane model it and found one interesting. One that involved using a lasso method and a small brass tubing and EZ line.

I did find one other where I swore he had tiny brass eyelet screws embedded on the top and lower wings.

Another beautiful kit! Interesting color scheme on that one.

Great to see the 'family all together,' Cherrylock—and a terrific build up as well!
Make more models!
