1/32 21st Century Models Ju-87

Post by Jeeves »

Was getting a bit burned out on aircraft while I was working on a WNW Fokker DVII- so I needed a bit of a break and some senseless fun. This kit is toylike- but I love the figures and decals in these things.

Worked on the interior a while back....left side with some assorted parts out of the spares:

Right Side- using some Warhammer spares:

Radio Deck- with an added box on top-

Panel using Mike Grant gauges:

And finally a couple shots of the included figures--

I've since pretty much completed assembly and the paint work...just need some touch ups after things cure and I'll update pics...

Thanks for looking!

The 21st Century kits build up quite nicely. You should have a good looking kit when done.

Thanks!!

Nearing the end of this one...need to add a couple things, touch up a few paint spots, and weather....I posed Hans sort of sitting up and out of his seat to make things a bit more interesting ;)

Great build Jeeves,

Hans-Ulrich seems to enjoy his time in cockpit!

Calling this one done-- hard to get great shots due to it's size...my apologies. This kit is truly interesting-- and crazy fitting. Typical glue I use doesn't seem to really do the best job as I see the front left gear collar split open just with handling...will use some CA at this point....

Despite the toy-like design of those models you managed to make it look really sharp! :shoutout:

I like this one. Stukas are a pretty neat plane. I think they still have one hanging in the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
