1:48 Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.12

Post by Cherrylock »

The B.E.12 is a single seater, a evolution of the B.E.2, a fighter bomber used as figher to protect britsh homeland, in the beginning of WW1 the newer fighter were better than the B.E.12, so RAF has to develop a better fighter and build the SE.5

The Roden kit is good to build, 3 different markings (2 like this, one with "low vis" markings white is replaced by the camo green)

You are really a top builder, especially looking at your biplanes! I never would have the nerves to do this rigging, but yours looks really good!
I noticed and I like the dirt on the tailplane, well observed! :beau:

Only, what are those "weights" on the outer corners of the lower wing? :?:

Wouh Cherrlylock,

this is a fantastic build, in my opinion one of the top ones you have recently shown us!

Full of details, with a quick view one could believe the scale is at least 1/32.

thanks for the comments, think the build was good, but it is not a nice aircraft, so the better looking aircrafts look better side by side with a ugle one. Good for historic vitrine.
