ACE COMBAT triple build!

the front fuselage of the eagle is separate to allow hasegawa to switch out sprues for a two-seat version. That said...why does it attach on a butt-join?!? There is really no support or alignment tabs on this area, so I made my own with snippets of spare sprue. But no matter the wiggling, I couldnt get a flush join. This is such an awkward area to putty and sand.... :headslap:

the other two went together with little issue, just a few areas needing to be clamped.

A busy weekend with family kept me from the workbench, but I snuck away here and there to work on the kits. Here is the trio all put together:
