Panzer II Commission Build From the Duke
A friend of mine who is more wargamer than model builder commissioned me to build a 1/35th scale Panzer II as a display to show next to his WWII game. I chose the new Tamiya kit and got started several months ago. I have now completed this model and I'm ready to turn it over to him.
Here it is, all weathered after it's test run:

Thanks Carlos! Yeah, I can build in 1/35th. Yeah, I did it for cash, I feel so 'dirty'!
My friend sent me a text saying that he'd just seen "Fury" and said "Wow!" to the Tiger tank. I told him it was the running Tiger from Bovington and if he wanted me to build him one of those, it was gonna cost him BIG!!
We'll see what he says.
Thanks again for the compliment Carlos, I would have loved for you to see this in person, but I'm turning it over to him at the end of April. It is coming to AMPS tonight so we'll see what the guys there say about it.
