Tamiya engineering!!! I don't think that the pics and video we've seen is the final product. Everyone on Facebook have been complaining about it not having the option of dropped flaps/slats.

Oh and the "Why do we need another Tomcat?" BECAUSE IT'S TAMIYA!!!!! :headslap:

Do we really need another Tomcat model????

Hell yeah we do!!! Tamiya and AMK are introducing new kitties! That is great news! Now I need to practice my excuses for adding more kits to the stash!

Bruce, just do what I do.

I sell one kit off "to make room",,,,,,,,and then buy two kits to replace it.

What? Isn't that how a lot of us do it??

I will wait for price information. But given it is Tamiya I am afraid I could black out...

Well after reading more about it, I'm starting to lean towards the AMK boxing. The Tamiya one has a solid wing so no option to drop the flaps and slats and weapons are sold separately. AMK have said that they're doing all the versions of the Tomcat with lots of options and weapons.

Same here. With all those kits in stash I easily wait until both are out and we can compare them.

Solid wings, with no dropped flaps/slats option is no deal killer for me. But weapons sold separately???!!! Really?! That has never been a Tamiya trait. Are they jumping on the Hasegawa bandwagon for doing that? That is serious wrong move in my view! :rules:
