J2M3 Raiden

Post by ajcmac »

My idea was to open a topic with a new model, the P-47D Tamiya which should arrive tomorrow but, as Thomas_M said in my presentation, I'm building a J2M3 Raiden Hasegawa 1/48 scale that I'm participating in one GB on another forum. Is practically finished. Missing weathering on the doors of landing gear, propeller, exhaust pipes and glue the lights.

The model. The chosen version is shown in the boxart.

I hope you enjoy it.

Well done, sir....Well done. Excellent weathering.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Not a big fan of the Jack, but I like the work you've done on this one - well done!

Glad to see this one here on SPAModeler! You really captured the well used look of aircraft and camouflage! The exhaust stains are just right and not overdone. Image

The more I look at this the more awed I am. This plane is growing on me a lot. The lines and proportions are nice. Your work simply brings it to life! I will send you directions to my cave and you can come anytime to work on my stash!

Thank you all for following and for your comments :D .

Finally I decided to finish the model. I leave small pieces back and then it takes me too long to finish the models.

This time were the landing gear and propeller.

I painted everything that was missing.

Let's see if I can finish by the end of next week.
