Well considering they're $4 for acrylics and $4.80 for the lacquer acrylics, I think they're worth it since this guy knows his Russian colors. I do know he often goes to Russia at least 2 times a year. Linden Imports is the real deal when it comes to authentic Russian colors. He's heading back on July 17 til mid-August according to his website. I'll wait til he returns before I place an order.

And as I found out m a little bit goes a long way with these paints.

I have used an oil paint wash (windsor newton black and brown, thinned in white spirits) to accentuate the panel lines.

A common problem with vacform kits is that they have no or shallow panel lines. So I have retraced them.

Almost done! I put the flat coat over the whole model. My Humbrol spray can was empty so I did it with my old technique: Future with Tamiya Flat base:
