I think I’m going to test fit this kit together first to see how it’s supposed to go together and then install my resin goodies here and there. I figure it’ll give me a slight edge when things aren’t going together so smoothly when installing the resin pieces. Painting this sucker on the bottom will be a unique experience for me as I’m used to painting my exteriors with no landing gear installed. Judging by the fit of the fuselage halves together and the wing to fuselage joint I’d say it might be a slight bit easier of a kit than I’d originally thought. :hmm:

That´s about as far as I got with my kit some years (ouch...) ago. What I don´t like on this kit is that the plastic is rather hard and brittle.
I also got Revell´s edition of the four engined Ar 234 in this ridiculous large box. A box this large you easily could send a 1/32 Ju 88 kit in!

It's all about marketing. A big flashy box tends to grab folks attention. To tell you the truth I thought about doing the 4 engine version myself but I wanted to display an engine in detail and this is a lot harder to do with that one.

More test fitting today with the Aires interior detail set. Looks like it's going to fit good at the firewall/ fuselage joint. Will have to see how everything is going to behave with the glass installed ..........

This is a fairly well complimented set and I'm looking forward to working with it:

Wow! Lotsa fiddly bits just for the cockpit alone. That's more than the hot rod engine detailing you do. LOL!

My goodness! Lotsa pieces parts.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

BlackSheep: Believe me...it'll be one helluva lot easier than a V-8 engine will be. That's for dam sure. lol . It took me about two months to build my last V-8 engine.

Lyle: It's got a few alright but it'll be fun.

Thomas: Ahhh it'll fit. I aint skeered. lol

I've got the tub all trimmed up and the two pieces glued together. I had to sand a lot of material from the bottom to get it to fit right but so far so good. Here's a few shots with the clear nose piece test fitted. It looks like it's gonna be A-OK.
