Nicely done!
I plan on doing Bruce Crandall's "Ancient Serpent 6" mount one day using the Revell kit and it is in similar configuration. Yours is a good inspiration.

Thanks. Crandall and Mason both flew in the Battle of IDrang Valley, the setting of We Were Soldiers. Mason was with the 229th. Not sure about Crandall, both had the same nose art on their Hueys. The problem with the most recent issue of the Revell kit is it is a gunship. No US D or H model Hueys were gunships, and the gunship release has no troop seating. You will need to scratchbuild or rob from another Huey kit. Do you need the decals fro Crandall's bird? I have a set, and plan on building mine as a Canadian rescue bird.If you are in the lower 48, you can have them.

Ask me about Speedway Decals.

Thanks for the offer. I picked up the recent Revell UH-1D re issue just for the Ancient Serpent Six decals. I will probably build that one in ARVN or Aussie markings as they both flew long cabin gunships. I have an older boxing of the Revell UH-1D Slick that I will use for Crandall's bird when I do build it. I also have a couple sets of the Dragon US Helicopter crews for the door guns, so I have all I need for the project whenever I get around to it...
