Revell 1/32 F-4G Review & Build- update 12/13 (pg.19)
Re: Revell 1/32 F-4G Review & Build
thanks, pal! This should be close to epic.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Well now that my self diagnosed modelers OCD is kicking in on this project... I don't know about epic, but I hope you enjoy the show...LyleW wrote:thanks, pal! This should be close to epic.

I would wait a few days for the acrylics to cure before I put anything else on them, Carlos. The IPs look smashing.

Paul, the IPs and side consoles are pretty nicely detailed. Painting them up to best effect should really make em look sweet. As far as letting the seat colors cure goes, the main colors cured long ago.
I should have some decent progress to show in a few days.

The box shows one of my favourite colour schemes on a F-4. I just re-read this WIP and cannot wait for more!

I've been working on detail painting of the ejection seats tonite. I should be able to get some photos up tomorrow.

Really looking forward to seeing the finished product. I have this one sitting in my stash taunting me every now and then. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to go OOB or step up and do some AM stuff for the engine intakes and the seats.

I highly recommend AM seats already. Or a good bit of modification to the kit parts for the seats. The IPs and side consoles look pretty good compared to photos of the real things, but the seats are needing some work.jelliott523 wrote:Really looking forward to seeing the finished product.
