Well, nothing really super to show on the seats. But I said I would post some photos today.

I made one attempt to paint the black striping on the activation handles, but was not happy with the results, so a quick repaint of yellow. Another method tomorrow... :hmm:

Here are some shots of the real seat from an outstanding site on ejection seats

You are rather close to the original colours of those seats! If only there were the yellow stencils given in the kit!

Thank you Thomas. Yes, I have to agree that some stencil decals for the seats (and instrument decals for the IPs) would certainly add to this kit if they had been included.

Maybe you have some leftovers from other sheets? I guess nobody will be able to "read" such lookalikes...

I might have something that will work for the placards on the side of the headrest. Maybe something for the seat cushions also...

Slow but steady progress in the cockpit. I have the seats pretty much done- base colors painted, wash on, just need a top coat and some dry brushing. And I have started work on the IPs and side consoles. Some very good reference photos here

Here is where it is currently...

I will see if I can get more done later this evening, but the light in my work area is not too great for the tiny detail work of all the knobs and switches that need working on to match what is in the photos... it may have to wait until tomorrow in the midday.

Thank you Thomas. It was very hard to fight off the urge to add my own belts and other bits to spiff them up. :Bur2: I will get more work done in there this evening. All those switches an knobs on the IPs and consoles. :hmm:
