Re: Monogram F-82 What if....
That kit reminded me of a kit I should have brought more money to buy. A vendor at SYRCON was selling rare 1/48 scale F-82 Twin Mustang kits for $20 each. Now I'm kicking myself in the ass for not doing so. No sense in crying about it now.

That ModelCraft kit will make you hate life!BlackSheep214 wrote:That kit reminded me of a kit I should have brought more money to buy. I did one several years ago...upon my latest return to modeling. Nothing...I mean NOTHING fits. So much sanding. If ya can beat it though...everything else is just a piece of cake. I got another one as part of a big stash I bought a couple years ago...still don't have the gumption to break into it yet! The kit NEEDS Squadrons vac canopies...kit parts are total $#!T...Eduard also has a PE set that helps a lot.
Even made the reader gallery Oct 2009

I'm sure I'll break out the Revellogram 1/72 kit long before I tackle the 48th kit again!

Yeah, that was the brand kit. They were bagged kits too.. A bummer really since you already had experience with it. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't waste my money on it. Funny thing, the vendor told me he bought them at $16 a piece. I can't remember where he found them though.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
