1:48 F4D-1 Skyray

Post by Cherrylock »

a Tamiya kit that allways makes pure fun is the Skyray, love this one and the colorful markings, it is a early jet but with markings of famous squadrons, the folded is a VMF(AW)-115 Silver Eagles, the cleared to take-off is a vf-213 Blacklions

Those are good looking aircraft. A very nice collection.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yeah, what he said. You don't see those kits built too often. Well done!

Two more sweet builds! A good kit, a top notch modeler, and beautiful subject matter... just the right combination.

thanks all for you words, your right, the Skyray is not so often to see, but you have all in the kit a modeller need, excelent Tamiya fit, colorful markings, wing folding include, CMK aftermarket parts if a update is in your mind...and it is not to big to store :giggles:

I loves me a Skyray! What a futuristic aircraft for her time. I understand it was the only U.S. Navy bird assigned to NORAD. I want to see one wearing WWII German mottled livery! I love the shot of both birds together, Cherry, you have an incredible collection of models sir Great job indeed!
