Thanks guys!Toast

The worst is over...finally!

Overall, I was not all too pleased with the dark green color...it all just looked...Hmm...too stark??? I added a touch of tan to the dull coat, toned that green down a bit...much happier now!

Looking real good. I will say that when you saw the Europe 1 scheme in person, the dark green was rather bright tonally. Especially when it began to fade from weathering.

One nitpick on your loadout colors. During Desert Storm, both the Mavericks and ECM pods carried by A-10s were OD 34087, and not white.
Have a look here for some photos

Appreciate the info....came just a wee bit late though.
I was "iffy" on the ALQ, went with white for the contrast. Most pics showed a different ALQ(shorter, more squared).
As for the Mavericks, I did find a couple D/S pics with A-10s carrying white ones, although there was more grey and even more in green. To be completely honest, there wasn't a whole lot of thought put into it, until after your post... :headslap:

Anyway, she's done!

No worries sir! She's a beauty! In an ugly sort of way that the A-10 has. The best CAS bird ever! The shorter more angular ECM pod is the ALQ-131, and was in service at the same time. Based on photos I am starting to think that stateside units with older aircraft had the -119s going into ODS, while stateside units with later production aircraft and Europe based ones had the -131. Just a theory on my part now, but the photos seem to support it. The white Mavericks are the older model TV guided types (daylight only use) while the grays and olive drab ones were later production models with laser seeker or imaging infrared heads.

One again, Bravo on another sweet build! :shoutout:

:that: Exactly my words. Especially the front shot makes it for me. All those ordnance lets you wonder why the hell the wings don't break or even bend.
