Thank ya Duke! I'm glad you're on the mend; if you can type, are you back to building? I've been pretty lucky with bmf over the years. I guess I've used four or five different products for them and my favorite is now out of production. I have one unopened bottle of SnJ and after that, no mas. I've wanted to try Alclad for awhile now. That will be a whole "nuther" learning curve for me. Thanks man.

Thanks Stuart! I'm glad to hear that you like them. Yep, I was building all these older kits back before the internet came along. Heck, I didn't even know there was anything wrong with them! I just hammered them together and went on to the next one. I've learned so much from the 'net over the years, but having access to all that info has sort of slowed my progress down. I spend too much time researching and not enough time building now!

Alclad is a different animal indeed. The most important part of it is to get the smoothest surface possible and I'm still struggling with that. As for my hand; yes, I'm progressing well enough to do some building for a few minutes at a time. I might even be able to finish these last three vehicles I'm working on. I certainly need to since I go see my orthopedic surgeon on Thursday. Turns out there's still fragments inside that need to be removed. That will put me back a ways for sure.

Kari, thanks for that my friend! I love taking my planes out to the airport for pics. I think it always makes them look better too. My indoor photography is pretty bad, and what's a more natural "setting" for an airplane than an airport? Well, in the air one might say! That's true but I hesitate to throw them through the air. I might've been tempted to do just that a few times, but so far, I've resisted the urge...

Lol! Well, I was a lot newer back then myself. That's fer sure. Hey, some of those "old" kits are now considered classics. Hmmmm...say, does make me a classic too? Naw, just older I'd say.
