Photos! :wow: and even some painted parts on the sprues.... :yikes: well I am glad to see it. That is one kit that I would like to buy and build one day myself. I will be paying attention here! :writing:

As I said in another thread, it is cold here today. Probably about 5 F (-17 c) right now. The basement and hence my parlor room are not heated except for a couple of space heaters. Not sure I'll get there today. Maybe. One weird thing, though. I went through the steps and wrote the paint call-outs on the destructions. . . it all looked so foreign to me. Even after starting the painting, it is slow to come back...

That is an interesting Ventura I've never seen before - nose mounted guns. I will be watching this one for sure. My kind of kit.

Remember I mentioned how fragile some parts looked? I was being so careful.

Well,

Got it sort of back together.

and the IP - they had three small decals included. I've added those and am dousing them with MicroSol.

Did I say it has been awhile since I worked on a model? When I opened the box, I was very happy to see masks for the clear parts. Tickled, as it were.

Sitting here painting the wheels, painting the hubs, painting the wheels, painting the hubs...you get the picture. Looked at the instructions for some lame reason and .... DOH ... there was the little, smart-aleky symbol for the masks. It never crossed my mind there would be wheel masks on the sheet of masks. :headbang:

I put them in place. I usually seem to have a problem with seepage, under the mask thank you, on wheels. So I put some Future around the edges. Hopefully, it will seal them as it does on canopies. I'm so smart, I even amaze meself.
