Zvesda 1/100 (?) El Cupacabra (from Disney's Planes)

Here is the other Planes kit I recently made. It is El Cupacabra, the legendary champion of mexican indoor racing (!). And one of the side kicks of the hero of the movie Dusty.
It is obviously the bastard love child of a GeeBee racer and a mexican Lucadore wrestler.

We did a bit more work on this kit then on Ripslinger. The engine, tires, prop and mouth where painted. Fortunatly I have water based Revell paints and some cheap brushes so I was not afraid in letting my son (almost 3 yrs) paint. Basically, he smothers the part in paint and then I do the clean up. But we are having fun so that is what count.
This kit also uses a lot of stickers for the color scheme.

Once again, these are well made kits, suited for their target audience (7+). If I run in to some other characters I will definetly pick them up.
