The decals are on. Just six of them so not a lot of work. These Rocketeer decals are very good, thin but with good coverage/saturation.

I sealed them with Future. Next is an wash, not to dark because this was a pampered test aircraft.

Here is a pic halfway trough the wash.

And after clean up. The final flat coat wil tone it down a bit more so this is good.

That wash is really bringing out all the recessed details nicely.

Borg, really beautiful work; the final finish came together beautifully, and I respect how you chose not to black base the color coat, and kept your integrity throughout the build process—making this a real favorite—of realism. Bravo, bravo!

Thanks Speedgraflex. I must say I really like the black base technique but do not think it is appropriate in all cases. Examples such as airliners or very wel taken care for aircraft as prototypes or general aviation.
