Yes, based off that photo I would suggest Olive Drab or Dull Dark Green. The latter is pretty close to Medium Green 42/ FS #34092.

Double thanks to you both about the green. Is it believed to be true that the primary color was Chevy's Grey Pearl? This was used by Lockheed on the XP-80A prototype.

The color on early P-80's was called Pearl Gray. I have no idea if it was a Chevy color, but I have read that it is similar to Aircraft Gray FS# 16473 that has been lightened.

Thank you so much, Stik. I'm wondering if AS-20 Insignia White by Tamiya—which I used as the hull color of the Classic Series Enterprise—might be quite close to aircraft gray.

The lightest shade of gray would be Model Master Camouflage Gray. That's what I can come up with that could be a close match to what you're looking for. I don't know. I'm having a hard time believing you stating that Tamiya Insignia White is gray in color when it's really a white in color.

It is something of an enigmatic color. IIRC, Dana Bell describes it as a lightened version of ADC/Aircraft Gray. Others describe it as a glossy Gull Gray. So light, but not too light. 36622 Camouflage Gray sounds too light. Whenever I get around to the P-80A in my stash, I'm just gonna lighten up some 16473 with white.

I know it is really hard to believe. Sincerely. I found an interesting reference to how "gray" Insignia White is through Carson Dyle's shuttlecraft build. He used Tamiya's rattle cans: AS-20 Insignia White for the upper hull and AS-26 Light Ghost Gray for the lower half and nacelles. This convinced me to try using white as gray.

That is an a good off white color... not a match for the US Color of the same name under FS or ANA standards. But could be useful...
