An old lady, but enough pixels and - more important - good macro mode. You may find it ridiculous, but Im traditional somehow. A PC for internet stuff. A mobile for calls. And - no wonder - a small pocket camera for pictures. Never used an IPhone or mobile for that. Never made bad experiences - cant say that from those superdupernew phonbes. Can you call so. with them after all?

;)

:Shark:
Nothing wrong with that - I totally agree. I still take 90% of my family photos on 35mm film.

Carlos, you lucky fella! That's a beautiful camera, and I am envious—do you use a case? I have never been able to find a workable case for any phone I have owned. What do you use for background? I am currently exploring cost-effective black backgrounds for photographing small parts—my current solution is black poster board from Target for $1 a piece.

Just a basic case picked up from the phone store to give some protection. My phones have a tendency to get exposed to a rough life at times. As far as my backgrounds for photos I use mostly either plain white printer paper for the quick stuff, or bedsheets for the prepared/posed photos. I really like the simple editing program for photos as well.

I have a Canon Rebel T8i with the 18-55mm kit lens.
I also have a Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8, and a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary.

That is a nice setup!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I have the same basic setup but all Pentax. It's not necessary for model pictures but I enjoy photography as well.

Same here. Bought the big lens for nature photography.
I like macro photography as well. Used to shoot a lot of Kodak slide film back when I was a teen. Most of my family were into photography and shooting weddings.

Shot this fly several months ago with the Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro.

The truth is that in this day and age there are very few bad cameras; however, there are very many bad photographers. I currently use a Fujifilm X-T3. Previously, I’ve had Nikon D300, D40 and an Olympus point and shoot, which all took fabulous pictures. Now camera lenses are a totally different story, there are lots of cheap consumer grade lenses out there, some made of plastic, which aren’t very good.

An interesting question to the group is, how many of you can say you have a radioactive camera lens? I can… :giggles:

Oh, btw, if any of you use Instagram, you can check out my non-model related photography if you like. My instagram account is @cbphotoz

Don’t own a big name camera with a set up like you guys have. Someday but then again, I don’t do much photography.
