This project is back in the works.
Not a lot to show beyond some drying paint/primer...I won't bother with those.

Starting the "wood"!

How did you achieve that wood finish look?

You can see them in the background....Uschi decals. I used a tan/yellow mix for the base.

Finished up the left wing bottom, and a small section of the top half...going with a "cut away" look.

Still have to "wood" the framing...that will be less than fun....and add the rest of the details, but ya can see where it's going...

Modified the port side, so that the whole engine can be shown off...

Mighty awesome work, sir. Love the blue naugahide upholstery, too!

The wing fuel tanks look unpainted, as far as I can see. Do you still have access to them?

They're just set in place...no paint or glue yet. I still have to turn the plastic framework into wood before I do any gluing.
