Re: Me-109F, Airfix 1/48
Exquisite work! It's so inspirational to see this on so many levels! When I need to remind myself what fearless and exciting work is at speed, this gallery is where I will come. You really knocked this one out beautifully. And I feel you are going places within these Revellofixagram builds that showcase both your invention and gumption. I think these are great traits to aspire to personally... and I will visit here to connect myself to your build style when I am bogged down in minutiae. Thank you and please may we have another project soon... oh and finally...

Thank you Bruce! I truly appreciate your kind words on this. These old kits can really be made to shine with basic modeling skills and a little or a lot of add on, depending upon your end goal and time available... I just realized this is the modeling equivelant of METT-T, that I learned at the 1st phase NCO Academy all those years ago... the considerations for mission planning: Mission, Enemy, Terrain, Troops (available)- Time... the military loves acronyms, and even though I have been out for more than a decade now, the stuff is drilled into your head....
There will be another old simple aircraft project coming along soon. But first I have to knock out a tank build next...

Thank YOU for being so inspiring, Carlos. Your work came together so well, you brought the kit up to a new level! Very inspiring. In fact, I was so inspired, I shot the lock off my wallet and picked up Eduard's 1/48 Bf 109 F-4 Trop Weekend Edition, Yellow 6, JG 3, Uffz. Franz Schwaige, Libya, 1942.

Bruce, one 109 leads to another...
I already have two more in my stash picked out and on deck for not too distant future projects...
I really want to see how your Eduard kit looks and builds.
Very nice choice!

Magnificent job an congrats on the award as well. I so wanted to go to that contest but was unable to for various reasons. Once again, that is a fabulous model; especially considering it was a bit of a speed build.

Thanks Mark. It was definitely a day for your 1/72 comrades.
