Paul the Zuiun - E16A Fujimi 1/72

Post by BsYamato »

Sterted this new japan floatplane for a memorial GB about a great italian modeller recently passed away

The subject , the Aichi E16A Zuiun, Paul for allies, was designed as Jake replacer,. Missions was observation and.. dive bombing! netice the holes surfaces around floats vertical struts, are dive air brakers.
Few units was built before the war end and used as kamikaze at the end. No units survived at the war.
Recently a 1/1 mockup was built in japan, here a picture

Not too often we see a 1:1 version. Looking forward to your progress on the floatplane with interest.

Nice subject there BSY. I was unaware of this aircraft type.

Another interesting kit! I love the variety here... not the common kits you see in the USA.

Great work on those seats! With all that glass the work in the cockpit will be very visible.

Simple scratch built seats... :writing:

That might save me some money in the future... :hmm:
