I finally found the time to update my photos from Photocrap to Postimage!!
I have been back on the bench since I'm been out of work due to a backache. I will post more progress pics once I get a new chip for my camera. Not only I was working on this kit, I've started the Sherman kit as well.

Awesome! I mentioned this kit in another thread and now we get to see it being built! The Tamiya T-Bolt kits are excellent so you should enjoy how it goes together.

The kit is so far into the build, I'm down to the last bits and decals.
Gear struts with gear doors attached, tail gear doors:
Wing flaps - I've opt to have them in down position once finished:
Cowling with checkered decals and engine installed. Decals weren't too hard to put on. I think patience is the key when doing these decals. (Flat clearcoat is already applied)
The kit where I left off. Yeah, the invasion stripes are painted on. I used dirty white and flat black. I chose not to use the kit supplied invasion stripes. I will admit, they were hard to line up and get them in equal parts.
And the next...

What a beautiful project! Thank you for uploading photos to replace those obscured by the Photobucket extortion scheme. If you have your paint call outs or painting suggestions for cockpit colors, I would be appreciative.

Thank you. I went with green zinc chromate for the cockpit. Then I weathered it using Model Master Black Detail Wash to give it a worn out look. I need to find out if I did take a picture of the cockpit or not. If I do, I will post it.

Is there ZCG inside the top half of the cowling as well? I am almost at the point where I will prime the engine area so I appreciate any advice. It appears that the area where the oil pan rests is natural metal and the area surrounding the engine is green. Or maybe I am staring at your build and seeing green everywhere, lol. Thanks in advance. Keep posting. You are probably done!! So close. Or you are just a few steps from finishing! All the best!

Yes, the top half of the cowling is ZCG and the bottom half neutral grey as per instruction in Tamiya website.
