Hi guys!
During the last days I focused on my Eurofighter EFA / JF 90.
Good news: It got its first paint layer by Revell’s very light gray 371.
Bad news: To get there, it is a lot of rework with bad fitting on the canopy, very thick stabilizers on weapons and external fuel tanks, no details on landing gear doors, ridiculous weapons. So I modified the front gear door and scratched those of the main gear. Stabilizers for fuel tanks are scratched as well. For the missiles I am a bit unsure. Maybe I am modifying them or I’ll replace them. Beside that the fitting of the canards was surprisingly good. Also I am going to replace the light on its back with a scratched light. I have already prepared a transparent sprue. Due to the general bad fitting the very rare and raised panels on the wings were gone while sanding filled areas. So I had to rescribe them. To be honest, sometimes I wanted to dump it.
I guess when she is ready to roll-out, I’ll put her onto the lowest shelve somewhere in the background.
