1/32 Revell Fw 190A-8/R11

Post by James H »

Hi all,

I recently finished another rush build for Tamiya Model Magazine International. This time it was the new tool Fw 190A-8/R11 in 1/32. I built the F-8 2 or 3 years ago and loved it. This has the same fun factor. I also fitted it with numerous Eduard PE and resin sets. Paint is MRP.

Look out for this one in the December issue of TMMI, out on November 16th.

Great build James! The Revell 1/32 kits are very nice. Good detail and features balanced by affordability.

Another fine build, James! Cannot wait to see it in about 4 days as a digital subscription holder of TMMI!
What pressure do you shoot those MRP paints?

Cheers!

I spray this at about 10-12PSI, and straight from bottle of course. I was a little sceptical about mottle without further thinning, but it was so simple to do. This is the first mottle I've done with MRP, despite having used the paint for a couple of years now.

I believe print copy is out on the 16th, so you may get it just before that date. Possibly. Maybe!

Currently building a test shot of the Revell P-51D for TMMI also. Not sure of publication date for this yet.
