As I've learned on a few cars, sometimes you've gotta be careful with that gloss coat as some of the graphics that were on cars.........say like an AAR Cuda or a T/A Challenger were applied over the gloss so it's gotta have that effect so as to look applied over paint. Most things like effects .......i.e. flame jobs or other graphics are cleared over and won't have that raised appearance. I've seen some pretty strict judges that'll look for the graphics on factory stock cars.speedgraflex wrote:Decals first.
Gloss second.
Like in this example. You can clearly see the flatness of the graphics over the gloss coat.
Can't copy the images but I'll post the site: http://www.wsupercars.com/plymouth-1970 ... racuda.php
