Your work is really inspiring—I appreciate all of the organically-driven design changes—these suit the mythical nature of the project very much. I realize your "stuff" contains a "What if" component, but I think the truth is your work defines what may be best about the design itself. I sincerely appreciate this quality in your work. I regret that I have been fairly useless of late with ideas; enjoy your work so much that I often just think about the details—the way you create cockpit details from plastic card, printed paper and tape—these techniques are wonderful, simple and elegant. I like builds where the modeler is seeking out a goal more and more because this requires living without a safety net (or in your case, a back up kit).

Bruce, taking those non professional home made solutions I do because of a limited budget. I have a house, a family and a dog. This costs a lot of money. Today you can by every improvement you want off the shelf . If not you can create a 3D model and let it print. I usually do not buy such things because it is just too expensive. So I go the cheap way. This must be enough. Good thing is that I have some kits in stock, where those solutions are really helpful. For them I learned a lot with that MiG.

Marius, I know what you mean about limited means. I am self employed so I don't get paid unless I get calls.


I don't get very many calls either.....


I build OOB and use some common household items myself for the same reasons. You really have some mad skills adapting them to make such an incredible model. Way to go!
