That is brilliant work, Marius! I thought you might use the last image for a cover test. I like the composition of the air engagement. You create the feeling of classic cover art. Really once the canopy is done this will be a great What-If. I would print this, seriously.

Thanks Bruce. Would be great to see Matchbox back. Let's think what if they release movie and tv-kits? Starting with that MiG, the Riptide S-58T, a CTU helicopter, a Buchon...

Indeed. I also appreciate that you added “Next Generation” as a sub heading. This feels totally appropriate. I think we have the responsibility to make upcoming generations excited about the experience of building a kit and that STARTS with great cover art.

Wow, I finally got caught up with this. Stunning work Bollekin! That came out far better than I expected! Way to go! brilliant work on the boxart too!

BTW, I have that Dassault Mirage from Matchbox in my stash. I was going to start it soon for the "Out of Africa" Campaign on Modeler's Alliance.

According to your answers you seem to like it. Model and box.
The Mirage by MB will also be one of my next projects, Duke. A Mirage is always cool. I will so the South African decal option.

Yesterday I finished the pencil work after adding panellines. This morning I couldn't wait. So I took a picture outside. For me she looks good now.
Probably we will see a finish tonight!
