Working on the tires. Experimenting with colors other than flat black. I’m also drinking cheap -but good- American beer, and listening to one of my favorite bands.

Looks like you’re in you’re “happy place” with all that...

Great work on the paint!

And no disrespect against my countrymen or products, but Uncle Sam spoiled me at a young age, sending me off to Germany and their beer... still my favorite all these years after... I still drink American beers, but if I’m buying, and it’s there to be had...

Carlos,

While I very much enjoy cheap American suds, and in some cases prefer them- Budweiser always tastes better than any other beer a.) after mowing the lawn and b.) while you’re eating boiled crawfish, I do enjoy good German beers, and Belgian beers as well! Belgian beers are my favorite.

Great to hear!

As I am living in this tiny country and also like practically only Belgian beers, would be great to hear some of your favorites !

Kari,

My absolute, ha da-down favorite beer is Palm, Belgian Session Ale.

I also enjoy Duvell, Piraat, and Gulden Draak.

How about you?

Those are all good, strong ones, I like them also!

My absolute favorites:
Duvel, Orval, Westvleteren 12, Rochefort 10 and XX Bitter.
Aaaand, the Christmas beer of Gouden Carolus is just so bloody good (and strong)

Kari,

I lived in Pittsburgh, PA for a few years. There was a bistro downtown which boasted quite a large selection of Belgian beers. I’ll tell you, I tied one on there more than a few times. And I really miss that place.

Duvell is always available down here in Louisiana where I live. And I can get Piraat occasionally. But I can’t gwt the others, and that is especially disappointing in terms of Palm. My wife occasionally orders me twelve packs of Palm from Florida.

There are so many new breweys in the States that make excellent Belgian style beers, with hops and perhaps even yest imported from Belgium. So there is for sure a huge variety of more or a less tastewise pretty much same beers as here.
(why do I get thirsty suddenly...) :-D
