That´s the one, Kari!

One build I make use of it: Trumpeter´s 1/35 SS-23 Spider. This kit has a zillion PE parts to be folded and glued in position as perfect as possible!

Thanks Thomas,

I did not find the glue, but no problems, I asked one of my German collegues to buy a Solacot bottle for me.
So next week when I will meet him (yet another worktrip for me), I will get that! Exciting!

Tojo, thanks for mentioning Gator Glue! I forgot this one. It´s great to add PE parts that won´t have to withstand any forces later, such as levers in an enclosed cockpit. Plenty of time to adjust the part, and Gator dries clear!

I guess you didn't see my mention of it. I did have a long list though...

You are so right, Gator Grip Glue is the absolute best for P/ parts. I especially love the fact that it has such great sheer strength. Best P/E glue ever!

I mentioned Gator Glue, too; especially since it was Thomas who suggested its usage for PE. I still like Canopy Glue as a “mixed media” adhesive. The white metal legs on my Trimaster Dora are still in place following a test fit with Pacer Glue.

And finally, a moment ago I received the UV glue recommended by Thomas, delivered directly from Germany (by one of my work collegues) while in Sweden and tomorrow going back home to Belgium.
The box includes also a UV lamp !
Can hardly resist not to open the package and try to glue something here in the hotelroom... :hmm:
But for once nothing is broken or loose, as I many times experience in hotel rooms...

Well, you could have created a situation where you had the opportunity to try out your new purchase... :giggles: Rock Groups are notorious for that sort of thing...

Back in 1967, Who drummer Keith Moon is said to have had a blast on his 21st birthday — much to the chagrin of staffers at a Flint, Mich., Holiday Inn.

Moon employed explosives to blow up a hotel toilet, instigated a food fight and took a Lincoln Continental for a dip in the pool. The damages were said to have totaled $24,000. Moon died from a drug overdose in 1978 without being forgiven.

In 1968, John Bonham of Led Zeppelin reportedly roared his Harley through the hallways at LA’s Chateau Marmont. Over at the Continental Hyatt House on Sunset Boulevard a couple years later, Jim Morrison got kicked out of the hotel after he hung out of his 10th-floor window in full view of passing traffic on Sunset Strip below.

Nicknamed the Riot House, the Hyatt was a notorious palace of excess: In 1973, Jimmy Page got away with stashing teenage groupie Lori Mattix in his room there, and Keith Richards apparently skirted eviction after tossing a TV from the window of his upper-floor room — an act that was captured by documentary filmmaker Robert Frank in 1972. Years later, a more mature Mick Jagger quipped, “Be considerate of other hotel guests — trash your room by 10 p.m.”
