Aah, thanks Medic! I have not thought of that book series at all, while hunting for decals!
Must study what is available !

Thanks Medic!

Work with the cockpit continued this evening, most of the parts are now painted and weahtered a little bit with oilwash and pigment washes + some drybrushing here and there.

Below two pics, mostly dryfitting. And the fit is pretty good I must say!

Those of you having sharp eyes (in other words everyone) will notice that the IP decals did not fit at all on the indicators and gauges... It looks to be honest, terrible! But I need to live with it for now and hope no one will ever take a closer look inside the cockpit... Which by the way will be closed... at least if I can decide that now..

Now I think I will put the cockpit aside, until the AM seat harnesses arrive (I still need to order them also!). Also the seat itself is almost untouched, waiting for the AM stuff.

Next step in the build will be the landing gears..
But not tonight anymore, close to midnight here and time soon wrap up ! :-)

Have a look here:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/greymatterfigu ... 34.c0.m322

I was doing a 1/32 Jerry Rutman P-51D and P-47D resin kit search and had a hit on their company. Jerry Rutman came to an agreement to re-release his work through Grey Matter Figures.

Check the seat and the tyres, for example....

Beautiful work on the Spitfire pit! I've not used Yahu panels before but they do look incredible!

Many thanks Bruce, what a finding you have (again) made!

That site is truly a goldmine with nice stuff for many kits with very competitive prices. The seat looks indeed good! :hmm:

Due to so much other stuff ongoing, very little time at the bench this weekend...

More or a less the only thing happened, was to glue the wing pieces together. Again my dear Squirrel was called to duty:

I must say, I am very happy of her work, the wing sections were pressed really well together ! :-D
